The Design And Implementation Of Hunan Industry Polytechnic’s Library Management System

Along with the super development of computer network and the computerhardware technology, the application of computer hardware related field of field ofapplication and development of continuous expansion and extension in. In today’shigher degree of modernization of the university library management fields, how toapply the computer hardware and computer network for our readers to provideconvenient and efficient library lending service, at the same time to improve thelibrary’s various types of utilization rate of the books and many other problems arebecoming more and more apparent.Institutions of higher learning modern library management system is a typicalapplication of management information system, system development process mainlyincludes the client application development design and establishment and maintenanceof database in two aspects of work. In this paper, application development tools C/SPowerBuilder, B/S Eclipse development tools and database development tool of SQLServer2005design library management system, the system is based on C/S and B/Sstructure integrated framework for information management system.The system design in the library, users, librarians and the actual situation of thelibrary for the application foundation, is based on the database system design anddevelopment, is designed to convert them effective database design process. The goal ofthis paper is to put the system into the actual database application system, and whereinthe database with complete functions and high efficiency application.This system combines the university library needs, to MIS managementinformation system, the principle of SQL language, PowerBuilder developmentenvironment, development tools Eclipse, all kinds of software development technologyfor a more in-depth study and application, mainly to complete the library managementsystem needs analysis, functional modules, database structure analysis, according topreliminary the results provide practical design database structure and the relatedapplication. The system design part mainly introduced the structure of B/S functionmodule design, the structure of C/S function module design and database design; system implementation section lists program development and debugging, the serverapplication development and client application development results, and with some ofthe main interface window and related procedures. Results prove that the system isrunning, the paper designed by the library management system can achieve the HunanIndustry Polytechnic all kinds of users and managers of various applications andsystems need.
