Teaching Evaluation System Based On ZigBee And Android

In recent years, the rapid development of education information technology hascome. Classroom response system is a system based on the wireless communicationtechnology which can improve student learning. It can greatly improve the quality ofeducation so that every student can participate in classroom interactive. This paperdescribes a classroom response system which consists of ZigBee wireless network andAndroid host computer system.Three aspects of work were introduced: Design and Implementation of the wirelessnetwork system, Design and Implementation of the Android host computer system,System testing to verify. The work of the wireless network system: At first, analysis ofthe demand for the network system and tests several important parameters of the ZigBeenetwork. And then design the wireless network system and propose an efficient datacollection solution. At last write the three kind of device’s program. The work of theAndroid host computer system: First of all, we build Android development platform andcompile the system of Android2.3.7. Then design the Android host computer systemand Propose Android system of serial operation, database modeling and data processingsolutions. Finally, write the host computer program which consists of four main parts.The work of system testing to verify: ZigBee functional verification, Android functionalverification, the combined system overall functional verification.Finally, the system completion of the desired design goals and can be applied toclassroom instruction. The systems provide real-time feedback of the students which isrepresented by the histogram which is drawn by the statistics of the number of studentsof different options and the average answer time. It also provides data query function.
