With the rapid development of high-speed Internet and mobile Internet in recent years,people's pursuit of a better life has been constantly improved.The Internet of things?IoT?,represented by smart home,has been developing vigorously,and the smart classroom has been regarded as an IoT application scene with great potential by people who have lofty ideals.Iot technology is a comprehensive application technology which has integrated technologies of wireless sensor network?WSN?,computer,communication and embedded development.The classroom is equipped with a large number of electrical appliances such as electric lights,air conditioners,fans,PCs,projectors and other equipment,where may become a focus of power waste and safety accidents as result of the lack of effective management.Manual inspection is of low efficiency and waste of manpower.For that reason,The IoT technology will be used to make the electrical equipment management more informatized,intelligentized and integrated.In this paper,IoT and related technologies such as wireless sensor network technologies,Zigbee technologies,RFID technologies,etc.are described.A Zigbee network is formed of the development platform of CC2530 development board?including coordinators and endpoint?,various sensors,RFID card readers and tags.CortexTM-A8 based on ARM was selected as the development platform of embedded gateway,and a set of smart classroom control management system was developed based on C++language using Qt integrated development environment?IDE?.Android client applications were developed using Eclipse for remote control.
