The Design And Implementation Of Mobile Classroom Client Based On Android

The rapid development of3G network and the popularity of intelligent mobile terminals has made mobile Internet become the mainstream in the development of mobile network,it is convenient for people to access to the network and resources anytime and anywhere.As the requirement of convenience to learn for learners is increasing, education industry needs to take the opportunity of mobile Internet, using the mobile terminal in learning, offering intelligent learning environment for students.This topic comes from the teaching reform,"Android platform extension of circuit theory curriculum resources research",the key projects in dalian university of technology, the aim is to expand the scope of application of circuit theory courses,based on the web documents and Android platform. On this basis, combining with the training plan of electric information class,set up a mobile learning platform of electric professional foundation course which service for undergraduate.To achieve this goal,this paper carries on the design and implementation of mobile classroom client. First of all, analyzed overall structure and framework design to client according to the requirements of mobile classroom. Secondly, divided curriculum resources into three, basic course materials,teaching materials, examination data, according to the situation of curriculum resources,which makes the users convenient to search, to download to read at any time.Third, designed two kinds of situation in the classroom interaction:the teacher may test students in class at any time, students use mobile devices to complete test, it is convenient for teachers to understand students’ mastery of knowledge at any time; Students can ask questions in the process of class at any time, the teachers choose the time of answering the questions in class or after class to solve the problems of students. Fourth, provided the BBS and resource evaluation function, so that students in a class can timely feedback for learning course materials after class, also facilitate communication between the students.Mobile client for mobile learning class, can not only improve the students’ learning efficiency, and can let the teacher understand students’ learning state very convenient.The mobile classroom client designed in the paper carried on the preliminary test in circuit theory courses,students access network through the2G/3G, WLAN to test, can obtain the corresponding learning resources according to the demand for resources, can involve in the teacher’s classroom and real-time interact with the teachers, can disscuss and exchange with users through the BBS and resource evaluation system.The system has fulfilled the designing request.
