Women and children’s healthcare,a part of the public health, is a diseaseprevention and healthcare for women and children. Health management is a process tocontrol all the health risk factors with the purpose of arouseing people’s enthusiasm, andlimiting resources to achieve the best health outcomes. Combining the maternal healthand health management by using computers and modern information technology, ispriotiy task for specific groups of maternal and children healthcare. However, thesystem of Chinese maternal and children health management stays in low level and facea lot of problems such as lacking of concept of health management, lacking of researchon health assessment and improvement, and lacking of complete concept of maternaland children health management system.According to the needs of the mother and child groups, and the developing ofdomestic and international maternal and child health management, I have designed andrealized the full range of maternal and child health management system as well ascovering the three levels of health information management, health assessment andhealth improvement. Paper works as follows:1) Based on the characteristics of the health management system, I have designedthe functional modules of the system to ensure the system effect, definition, design andimplementation of health records, supporting self-test, message handling and otherservices efficiency.2) Chooseing post relational data,Caché,as the database management system,analyzed the characters of structure about the nuclear data of the system.In addition,based on Caché,achieve the multidimensional data storage model and enhance theperformance of database to ensure the integrity and easy-usability of the system’s datainformation.3) Based on the object oriented technology, UMk analyzed and designed thesystem’s object data model to eusure the adaptability and expansibility of the system’sdata modd.4) Designing the coding rule for the health record of the system,the system makes defining, querying and operating the data more convenient and improve the efficiency.5) Based on J2EE,design and implement a light-weight architecture accordingtothe system’s requirements. This architecture has some features including lowcoupling,easy testing and high efficiency.During design process,in order to make thesystem to be extended,Sectlre and reliable,it is necessary to adequately consider aboutsystem security,long-distance transferring and exception processing.At present,the functions of the health management system for mothers and infantshave been realized,and the system has gone into the phase of running test.The runningresult shows that the system’s whole design is rational,and the data storage structure isefficient and the system architecture is stable....
