Design Of Mobile Learning System Based On Android

At the present, with the promotion and development of3G services, the mobileintelligent terminal ownership (smart phones and tablet PCs) have been very popular toteachers and students in campus environment. The smart terminal with Androidoperating system Gradually expand to3G mobile smart market, these technical updateand change in hardware and software also promote the model of change in the teachingand school counseling, and the teaching assistant system has a broad applicationprospects based on3G network environment. Based on Android smart terminal clientplatform, the paper introduced the design and implementation of Android-based mobileassisted instruction terminal system.The client plateform of the system is smart phone or tablet platform with theAndroid operating system, the system server with Apache+PHP+MySQL developmentportfolio. Based on the home and abroad study results on the network-assisted teachingsystem, it design the assisted teaching system based3G platform. It focus on the shortof the traditional networks supplementary mode, take the advantages of the3Gnetwork, make students and teachers can be assisted learning and teaching through3Gmobile networks.The system provides students professional courses browsing problems inreal-time to the teachers to ask questions and get automatic reply system; teachersbrowse the students’ own professional responsibility courses, online chat roomsthrough the system provides real-time counseling students; the system provides thetraditional networks have FTP function to facilitate teachers and students to upload anddownload teaching resources.System throughed the background server stress tests and client functionality andinterface testing after it finished, the test result shows that the system has reached therequirements of the design basically and it can be put into trial operation.
