The Design And Implementation Of Chat Model And Widget Model In Webex Meeting System

In recent years, compared to the traditional conference, web conferencing has been rapidly developed because of the advantage of its ease of communication and overlook of time and geographical factors. With the rapid development of mobile communication technology, the constant improvement of the smartphone platform and the enhancing performance of hardware facilities, web conferencing application on mobile devices has a wide range of prospects and gradually becomes an emerging hot spot of the industry.The Android platform is open source, low cost and easy to call a large number of APl.Client video conferencing deployment on mobile devices compared to the web has the natural advantage of mobility. Combined with the project, this paper designs and implements the Webex video conferencing system based on Android platform.The system is based on C/S structure,using the design ideas of MVC patten、Observer pattern and other patterns to develop the app. Besides, XMPP is an open source XML-based communication protocol. It provides protection to the data security and communication quality of real-time communication.So the system uses XMPP、XML and other advanced technology to realize the client of video conferencing software. The main work is as follows:(1) Analyze the requirements of the Webex video conferencing system. According to the basic needs of the project, overall plans the project and analyze separately the requirements and user cases of the Chat module and Widget module.(2) Describes the overall design of the Webex video conferencing system.Divides the project modules and designs the data structure of the system. Designs the modules and process of the Chat module and Widget module separately.(3) On the basis of requirements analysis and framework design, describes in detail the implemention of the Chat module and Widget module in Webex video conferencing system.Makes a detailed design of the interaction mechanism how the Chat module uses XMPP and the communication mechanism between the Widget module and other modules, at the same time describes the use of the database, data storage and data conversion method. Futher provides the instances of the usage of the system.
