With the progress of the society, industrial automation level enhances unceasingly,remote monitoring technology is developing rapidly, the remote monitoring systembased on Web is becoming a hot spot of research and development.More and morecompanies and enterprise through the Internet to realize remote terminal real-timeremote monitoring, remote equipment debugging, remote equipment fault detection andremote experiment. So that companies and enterprises to adapt to the trend of the Timesand the demand of economic globalization. The remote monitoring system based onweb is the realization of the national industrial production automation and improve theeconomic benefits of the enterprises in important technical means, the development ofthe remote monitoring system based on web for realizing industrial modernization,enterprise management information etc, it has important significance.This paper analyzes the development and current status of the remote monitoringsystem.Using miniaturization, strong scalability, strong real-time embedded web server,on the software adopts B/S architecture, using infrared camera as the systemsurveillance cameras, realize round-the-clock monitoring.In this paper, the design of infrared remote monitoring system ambient temperaturemonitoring, peripheral monitoring, video surveillance, system view. By the monitoringsite field devices, embedded web server and monitoring client consists of three parts,The thesis is divided into the following sections:First of all analyzes the thesis research background and significance and the remotemonitoring system research status at home and abroad.Analyzes the overall framework of the remote monitoring system, the systemdesign goals, the system overall hardware and software architecture, Using ARM-basedembedded platform to build a Web server, choice of the S3C2440integrateddevelopment board for the hardware platform, embedded Linux as the software platform,transplant the web server and the video server, designing the temperature sensor driverand monitor camera driver.Design the web monitoring applications, combined with the various functions required by the system to the system design goals, the system functions in the form ofpages to dynamic pages displayed on the client browser, dynamic web pages usingHTML language embedded Javascript CGI script is called production made.In order to enable the staff can see the current temperature, current time, networkcondition, and other information at the monitoring site, design the graphical userinterface of the monitoring site. The graphical interface is made by Qt, placed on themonitoring site at the field device, displayed on the S3C2440integrated LCD.Finally, combined with the system design goals system were tested for the overallfunctionality of the system, the test results are consistent with the expected target.
