So theenvironment of machine room is complicated.It is vary inconvenient to manage andmaintenance.However, many intelligence equipment send out different alarms, if they arenot detected, it easily causes the system fault,even serious safety accident and animmeasurable consequence. The mode of traditional passive duty and urgent repair has nolonger depat to our country’s communication network requirement at present. It is theburning question that how to effectively manage and maintain communication network.With technology development of automation and detection and network andcomputer, it make the remote monitor became possible. This design mainly completes thepower and environment monitor of communication room. First, we design the modules ofstorage battery and environment. They can complete the monitor of storage battery andtemperature and humidity and water and smoke and door. Second, we select appropriateequipment for power and air-condition. Last, we design the software. In two monitormodules, we used advanced32bit ARM processor for reliability and timeliness.Forimprove the system interface and data handling capacity, we use C#language and SQLServer database. We use serial servers for remote data transmission, it simplify thesoftware because through the virtual serial port can collecte remote data of machine room.Using the system, the workers can check the real state, and they can through telemetrymonitor and manage when warning has sent out and happened sound and light alarm.The remote monitoring system for communication machine room adapts the presentdevelopment status of our country. It not only centralized manage the data of equipment inmachine room, ensure the room to safety, but also improvement of work intensity andwork efficiency and maintenance quality.
