Design And Implementation Of Shijiazhuang Vocational College Of Technology Engineering Online Course Selection System

With the constant expansion of the higher vocational colleges’ enrollment, numberof students are also constantly on the rise. This results in a growing workload in theprocess of educational administration process. The use of traditional management modehas been difficult to meet the demand. Through the research, development andapplication of the students’ courses selection module in educational managementsystem, informatization and networking of the educational administration have beenrealized. This makes up for the previous shortage of wasting long time on selectingcourses, and low efficiency, that has a very important significance for improving theteaching management, regulating the flow of teaching, and improving the quality ofteaching.In this paper, the design of Shijiazhuang Vocational College for Scientific andTechnical Engineering online courses selection system uses ASP programmingtechnology and ODBC environment basing on browser/Sever structure. This systemtakes full consideration for ease of use, safety and stability. On the basis of the currentstatus of the running educational management system, it further explores thecharacteristics of a traditional structure with NET multi-layer structure. Based onsystem design principles, this paper presents the design of the system architecture. Inparticular, the key function of the system has been described in detail. It includes basicinformation module, courses selection information module and achievementmanagement module. Under the environment of. NET and SQL Server, the hierarchicalimplementation of the Online Course Selection System is studied. The emphasis is thedetailed implementation of the system’s function modules. Finally, through the analysisof system testing, it indicates the validity of this study of Shijiazhuang VocationalCollege for Scientific and Technical Engineering online course selection system system.The system has met the functional requirements of courses selection in the school’sEducational Administration management system. The system can meet the basic needs of educational administration, but on closer analysis, we find that there are somedeficiencies. This paper doesn’t make an intensive study of the security issues in thedesign and development process of Shijiazhuang Vocational College for Scientific andTechnical Engineering online course selection system. In the next step research, thesecurity issues should be highlighted to better safeguard the stability of the system.
