Therefore, we need to develop a system that isfunctional and reliable to satisfy the students’ selective course arrangement ofVocational-teachnical Colleges, and prove the convenience and simplicity.The students’courses selection system on-line is using modern computer technology and network resources,it can make the staffs’ work easy, and improve the efficiency of management work.Firstly,this article has analyzed the background of the selection system on-line，and madedetailed explanation to the importance. Secondly, it has introduced the current technology andsoftware, indicating the reasons for choosing B/S framework、Apache、PHP and My Sqlthrough making the comparison with other technology and software.Thirdly, according to the needs of those staffs、teachers and students,the research hasmade an analysis of the system requirements, and described the system’s features and designprocess; and elaborated the specific functions of each module design and code.
