With the development of science and technology, computer network technology,visualization technology and data management technology has become a keytechnology to promote the development of many areas. Especially in the seismicexploration industry, has more urgent demand for these computer technology.Visualization techniques to interpret seismic data analysis, the use of parallel processingtechnology in the network environment and data management technology will greatlyenhance the efficiency of seismic data management. In the field of oil and gas seismicexploration, a large amount of data collected in the field instrument usually are storedon tape media, they are need to be transported to data processing center, and thenprocessed and analyzed. As the first software tools for processing seismic data, taperesources management system plays a key role in the subsequent seismic data analysisand processing work.In this thesis, on the basis of theoretical research on the tape device managementmethod, tape data decompiling and seismic data display technology and Qtprogramming, starting from two practical application scenarios of the field explorationenvironment and indoor LAN environment, the system is designed as a computer-alonepart and the network part, and describe the principle of concrete realization in detail.The main content of the thesis as follows.1. In a computer-alone part of the system, as the problem of tape data cannot beprocessed in the wild, realized the tape operator interface library and the systeminteractive visualization tools—Operator Console. Using linux system calls, the SCSIdriver and the method to parse the data on the tape in cache to get the interface of tapecontrol operation, seismic data read and tape data decompile operation. Usingmultithread and command mode in the design of operator console framework, call thetape operation interface library to achieve control of the tape, such as read, write andtape data compile operations. Using wiggle curve mapping and positive amplitude fillmethod to achieve dimensional display of SegD format on the tape and SegD, SegY, SU,GM format seismic data on disk. 2. In the network part of the system, at the problem for remote tape drive can notbe managed in the LAN environment. Using C/S model and component programming,realized four components of the master server, the administrator console, tape devicesagency procedures and operator console and communication protocols. Operatorconsole increased network communication function in the basis of the stand-alone part.Four components complement communicate each other in the LAN environment toachieve transparently access to remote tape devices.Using the tape resources management system the thesis studied in actual scenarios,the practical result is that the system has the actual production capacity and higherflexibility, can promote the use of field exploration environment and indoor LANenvironment.
