The rapid development of science and technology has affected people’s daily life,made it the traditional way of life than ever to a huge change. The field of education,too, is an exception sweeping reform and exploration. Because of the expansion ofuniversities, more and more students have opportunities to study, so the universitiesbecame large scale. To solve these problems, people begin to develop new teachingmodel: putting more attention on how to use the network."Using network technologyand providing students with individualized instruction and effective studying supportservices" have become a topic of common concern. As with all universities, HenanNormal University is experiencing such a thought and behavior, and completely process.After several years of practice, Henan Normal University’s online teaching platform hasbegun to take shape; students have access to basic learning by the network support.Firstly, The thesis start from the reform of the teaching mode, described in detailthe similarities and differences of the traditional teaching mode and teaching mode ofonline information and analysis on the status of teaching online information, the needfor e-learning system, detailed analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of theclient/server and browser/server architecture, and this compares to finalize the choice ofwhat kind of architecture more appropriate, and JSP, JavaBeans technology anddatabase technology. Second, we use the complete business process diagrams and dataflow diagram of Henan Normal system needs analysis, business logic functions of thesystem are derived; then shows the overall framework of the system, and a modulardesign for the various subsystems of the system, and the database used by the systemdesign; Finally, the basis of system analysis and design, the use of JSP webdevelopment technology and database technology, the system requirements of eachfunction. Finally, the system summary and analysis of the deficiencies of the systemduring operation, and system improvements that may be required in the future.
