Secondary Vocational Schools, Educational Management System Design And Realization

With the popularization and development of Internet application, the information technology relying on the Internet has become a powerful driving force for the development of society and economy. There is far-reaching significance for building a brand education by improving teaching management level with computer network technology. What's more, along with the manufacturing in our country gradually developing forward to the high-end, various types of vocational technicians are in increasing demand, and secondary vocational education has been expanded and has obtained rapid development. On the other hand, education resources are found more and more limited. And the teaching management system of secondary vocational education is in gradually transition from the academic year system to the credit system, which makes it more difficult for educational management. Now all colleges and educational administrative departments have to consider the question that how to make full use of the limited teaching resources and how to improve the working efficiency to regulate the management of information, scientific statistics and fast query. Then the development of an Educational Management Information System is badly needed for the educational administrative departments and the faculties at schools.This thesis first analyses the characteristics of B/S structure and identifies the explorative model of three level structures of B/S structure considering the characteristics of the users'need. After analyzing the requirement of the municipal department of vocational colleges and the subordinate schools, the author summarizes the structure of the unified system and the function model. According to the overall analysis of the system, this function model is mainly divided into 5 sub-modules: the basic platform, educational management platform, integrated information platform, administrative office management platform, and education resources management platform. It is an educational management information system based on Web, adopting popular software architecture combined advanced computer web, medium and B/s technology. In this system, ASP.NET 2 is used as development platform,Windows 2003 Server as the operation system, MS Sql Server 2005 as backstage database. The design of database table structure and relation of tables are accomplished by adopting Power Designer and the main development language C# 2.0 and ASP.NET 2.0, which makes it possible that code is realized in the environment of Microsoft Visual Studio.NET 2003.Educational management Information system fully supports wide-area network office model. It can greatly reduce the manual labor in educational management. This system can ensure the consistency of teaching data and realize the grading share of the information instead of paper circulation. At the same time it also can standardize the procedure of educational administration and students'administration with computer and network system.
