Warehouse management is a focus management object in logistics andwarehousing management. Many small and medium enterprises still have manyshortcomings in the construction of modern logistics management system, especially inthe storage mode to establish and warehouse management, most of the enterprises stillremain in the manual management phase. It will become a necessity on the using ofstate-of-the-art computer network communication technology, changing traditionalwarehouse management mode and the implementation of warehouse managementautomation.In response to these problems mentioned above, this article analyzes the warehousemanagement characteristics of SMEs, raises warehouse management solutions suitablefor small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and implements the system. First of all, thearticle analyzes the general warehouse management needs of SMEs, chooses a layeredsoftware architecture style and gives a reference of network architecture for centralizeddeployment. On the selection of database, using MYSQL database as the main databaseapplication platform and design the database structure of the system. For the operationpermission of the management system, we implement the universal rights managementmodules, this can be used as a common subsystem and can provide important referenceworth for the realization of other systems. We are using SITEMESH-based page layouttechniques and AJAX-based page refresh technology which are based on J2EEenterprise computing technology to implement the warehouse management corefunctions, including warehousing, inventory, allocation, etc. The SITEMESH pagelayout technology simplifies the preparation of the page layout, AJAX-based pagewithout refreshing technology improve the user experience page interoperate. Whileprocessing system operation of the various bills, we implement a common billprocessing module, which can be easily handled for a variety of business bills includingthe procurement of storage lists, sales delivery, requisition of goods, etc. As well as onother extended business bill processing, we provide a unified operation processingtemplate, this make the expansion of the system functionality easier. The methods and algorithm realization of various functional modules are discussed in detail. On theelaborate design of module interface arrangements, we consider the user computeroperating level and the original manual habits that fit the characteristics of SMEs, anddesign the easy-to-use operating style, achieve significant results.The warehouse management information system based on J2EE can be used as thereference model in the design and development of logistics warehouse managementinformation technology for SMEs. Currently the system has been used on-linesuccessfully in a corporate and is working fine. The promotion of the system willimprove the warehouse management level of SMEs and thus will improve thecompetitiveness of enterprises in the market.
