With the constant development of electronic technology,electronic productsalso gradually shift to intelligent, which makes the original electronics products farshort for the needs of the market,and makes the electronic products which has adominant position in the market must meet the different requirements ofcustomers,can be automatically programmed to achieve differentfunctions.Therefore,eFuse technology which based on the original integrated circuittechnology came into being,it has a variety of advantages, not only be able toperform redundant,so as to achieve a high yield of the chip,but also makes the chipprogram automatically,so as to be more automatic and more intelligence.Thus,whilereducing design costs and manufacturing costs, the chip yield is enormouslyincreased, thereby the chip price is greatly reduced.Electrically programmable fuse with one-time programmable memorycharacteristics can provide programming functionality,so customers can program thecircuit according to different functions.For example, Two identical function of thechip has a completely different internal circuit design,therefore we need to developtwo different chips.We only need to develop a chip through the programming circuitnow.When the chip is finished,we can make the chip transfer to other function fromnormal status by using external data.This not only greatly reduces the cost of designand reduces manufacturing cost,but also makes the yield greatly increased andmakes the price of the chip greatly reduced.The article recounts electrically programmable fuse’s operational principlebriefly,and designs a efuse programming circuit with isolation control function.It isapplied to a four-channel digital isolator to provide programming function,so userscan use the circuit to achieve different types of custom chips according to differentfunctions,thus avoiding re-design.There are three main innovative points, first ofall,we put forward a fuse programming circuit with isolation control function,which makes the circuit get rid of external interference and other interference signalsof its produce, it can realize the isolation control functions.Second, we select the polysilicon fuse as programming device,because it is fully compatible with CMOSstandard process,thus greatly reducing the total area of programming circuit in thewhole chip,and because of the small size of the polysilicon fuse,the least damage toperipheral devices and low power consumption.Third,we increase a power on resetcircuit and power on start circuit,this make the circuit can get rid of the interferenceof working point,and realize the power on function.On this basis,this paper checkout all the key modules of the whole circuit by simulation.Finally, we design thelayout based on CSMC0.5μm double polysilicon mixing CMOS process.
