Infrared Focal Plane Array (IRFPA) device,which is an important equipment usedin the military ifeld,is a kernel part of the infrared thermal imaging system.currentlythe potential,market and application ifeld is reaching out to the civilian area.In recentyears, the level of infrared focal plane array technology has been promoted inChina.Due to the progress of infrared focal plane array technology that has beenmade,more and higher requirements in the parameters testing and performanceevaluation of infrared focal plane array detector come around for research..Based onthe test methods of infrared focal plane array detector’s performance parameters andstatistical analysis,This paper carry out research work which is shown as follows:1.Detailed principle and background research of the infrared imaging technologyand infrared focal plane array detector is launched.Based on comparison with foreigntechnology and some reference we put forward the problems that have not beenconsidered by traditional detection system in tests and applications2.Traditional IRFPA test principle and parameters are been discussed as well as themain IRFPA performance test indicators.Study indicates that the traditional testingtechnology haven’t involved the analysis of device response characteristics and thestatistical characteirstics, and that statistical characteristics and response characteirsticsare of great importance3.Based on the analysis and research about the infrared focal plane devices and theinfrared imaging system above, this paper puts forward the scheme of infrared focalplane array device performance detection and the analysis method of the deviceresponse characteirstics and data statistical characteristics.4.At last,the results and validity of the research method have been carriedout.Meanwhile the thesis work has been summarized and prediction of the direction forfollow-up research has been discussed.
