Infrared Imaging is one of hot point of the research of night vision technology, has been more and more used in military and civil fields.In this paper, based on the research of the basic theory of infrared imaging system, a real-time image processing functions of cooled infrared imaging system is designed and developed,which realize the real-time correction of infrared image.Based on this, a dual-channel multi-standard synchronous infrared image acquisition card based on PCI bus is designed. In this acquisition card, two pieces of video decoding chip respectively can turn analog image data come from two camera into a standard format of digital image signal. FPGA control image acquisition and transmission, save the image data to the SRAM. Finally, the FPGA control two channels data after PCI bus transfer to PC for storage, display and processing. Meanwhile, we design image processing card based on PCI Express bus. This image processing card mainly has functions of multi-standard video image acquisition and high resolution VGA displaying. Reliable acquisition card hardware has achieved the design requirements.
