As one of the basic forms of material existence, plasma has been widely used in eachindustry. The radiation and stealth characteristics of the plasma structure antenna are studied inthe paper. When the plasma frequency is higher than the signal transmission frequency, the metalcan be replaced by plasma as the launch conductor of antenna. When the plasma frequency islower than the incident wave frequency, the incident wave can be absorbed and reflected by theplasma. At the moment, the plasma’s characteristics can be used for stealth material. Because ofits special advantages compared with traditional material, the plasma material has been widelyconcerned. The main content of this paper is divided into the following sections:First of all, the theory of plasma stealth and the generation technology are introduced, basedon basic theory and the missile, the influence of complicated target surface plasma over the valueof RCS is calculated. The appropriate plasma parameters which made the value of RCS minimumare achieved.In the second place, the basic structure of a plasma antenna of surface acoustic waveexcitation is introduced, and then a kind of plasma half wave antenna based on the surface waveantenna is designed. It not only has similar radiation performance with the half-wave antennaconstituted by traditional metal, but also has a unique advantage in stealth. The stealthperformance of the plasma half wave antenna through comparing with the metal half waveantenna is studied.Then,a kind of plasma circle array antenna based on plasma half wave antenna is designed.It not only has good stealth performance of the plasma half wave antenna, but also can achieve thearray antenna pattern space scanning function by changing the single array element of plasmaparameters in the situation of having the same phase feed.Final, a plasma cylindrical parabolic antenna is designed. It takes plasma half wave antennaas feed and plasma filled in the cylindrical parabolic as reflecting surface. By controlling theparameters of the plasma in the cylindrical parabolic, the different direction and a good stealthperformance in the situation of being not working are achieved.
