Plasma stealth technology is a hot topic of stealth technology. The study of target plasma stealth has attracted much attention from home and abroad because of its outstanding advantages, revolutionary effeets and highly applicable value in military field. Re-entry is a general form of return of missile, radar and spacecraft, it relates with re-entry physics, plasma physics, modern radar, electronic warfare and so on. Therefore, the thorough study of re-entry capsule plasma stealth characteristics is of important military significance.First, each phase of re-entry recovering is theoretically analyzed,then the attenuation of the incident electromagnetic wave which caused by the unmagnitized plasma is analyzed, and the RCS of the common conductor target and the same target covered with unmagnitized plasma are computed in stealth phase by using FDTD method.Second, the reflection and collisional absorption stealth of plasma sheath are studied.The electromagnetic wave paths in plasma are computed by the principle of variation,and we developed a software interface to simulate the propagation of electromagnetic waves in plasma,then the effect on refractive energy reduction is presented. After that,we developed a software interface via Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, the WKB method is used to compute the amount of collisional absorption of normally or obliquely incidenting in inhomogeneous plasma,and the plasma density profiles could be homogeneous, linear, parabolie or epstein.Meanwhile,we also studied the cases of inhomogeneous magnetized plasma under different conditions the absorption of circularly polarized and the x-mode EM-wave.Finally, as far as the technical problem of a "blackout" phenomenon in radar recovering is concerned, the propagation of ultraintense laser in plasma channel is studied,then through the laser transmit the plasma sheath layer, to achieve the channel communication.At last,the formula is derived and the feasibility is initial demonstrated.All the results have lay a good theoretical ground for further reasech in radar re-entry and plasma stealth,also provide a good referential value.
