Owing to its many advantages, especially in military communications, plasma antenna receives more and more attention by people.A typical example of plasma antenna is cylindrical monopole antenna, which involves many theories that including the non-equilibrium plasma science, electro-magnetics, fluid mechanics, electrodynamics and some other theories. Then, plasma antenna can receive and send signals, quickly stealth and rapid reconfiguration, as well as involves main physical fields including plasma induction coupling field, flow field and electromagnetic field on working.A two-dimensional axisymmetric cylindrical monopole plasma antenna model is established in this paper, which the influence on main parameters of plasma antenna are simulated by finite element method(FEM) with different physics-field. Meanwhile, considering finite element analysis impacts on the accuracy of results with different method of dividing the grid.Firstly, a two-dimensional axisymmetric of plasma antenna model that using half shaft to predict the condition of the column, which can reduce the calculation time and improve computational efficiency is established by the characteristics of cylindrical monopole antenna. Secondly, the basic principles of plasma antenna and the physical mechanism of monopole antenna plasma are described and its physical model is obtained (induction), as well as the form of an induction coupled with plasma antenna is deduced.Thirdly, the control equations of physical field of cylindrical monopole plasma antenna are inferred by combining with non-equilibrium plasma science, fluid mechanics and electromagnetism theory, etc.The density distribution and the radiation pattern of plasma antenna are simulated by FEM with different physics-field.The simulation results show that with the certain other parameters, the particles flow field makes the density of plasma smaller while the column of antenna longer that the plasma density distribution is consistent with the experimental results of Rajneesh Kumar and the Inductively coupled plasma field makes the partial radiation field of antenna stronger, as well as the particle flow field makes the radiation field of antenna stronger. In addition, the greater the input power of the electromagnetic wave, the stronger the radiation field of antenna. What should be better understand and reconfigure that multi-physics field of cylindrical monopole plasma antenna is studied.
