Development of wireless sensor networks starting to pick up speed, varietyof wireless location technology is evolving, and there were plenty of success stories,at the same time, various wireless communication protocols have also beenproposed.For the convenience of peoples lives, wireless positioning has become akey technology of wireless sensor network applications. With the ZigBee alliancelaunched after the ZigBee standard, ZigBee technology for power consumption, lowcost has become a hot spot,Based on ZigBee wireless sensor network localizationsystem for broad application prospects, receive more attention and concern.Thisarticle is based on the circumstances, based on ZigBee wireless sensor networklocalization related research and implementation of the system.First of all, this article describes the background and significance of thestudy, domestic and foreign research, the main content of the ZigBee protocol stackAnd Network theoretical knowledge of wireless sensor network system, as well astheoretical analysis of wireless sensor network localization technology.Secondly, the design based on the research method of combiningtheoretical knowledge and practical tests,Had a study on the methods of getting thevalue of RSSI,distance measuring and location algorithm,proposed the RSSI receivemodel on the base the reference point fixed,Gaussian filter and the meantreatment,and improved algorithm for maximum likelihood location,and improvedthe accuracy and precision of positioning and RSSI value.And using the LabVIEWsimulation analysis,and designed the PC software in the system,and completed thedesign features such as algorithms and positioning coordinates.Finally, on the status of existing ZigBee based wireless sensor networkssummarizes the inadequacies of the system, and plans and prospects of further workdone.
