Multi-Point Bluetooth File Transmission System On Android

Android,with the open-source character, is now attracting a large number of developers.With its share on mobile market is growing,many well-known manufacturers pay more and more attention to Android platform.With the escalating competition, although the cost on Android phones is getting lower and lower, its performance could be equal with the laptop a few years ago.Bluetooth devices have been popular among consumers as essential components of the smart phone.The research of this paper aims to achieve file sharing between multiple Bluetooth devices.Now almost all the bluetooth applications on android are just suit to the point-to-point mode, and my paper take the multi-point situation into account and also give the solution after studying the Bluetooth API. All the devices with traget flie would share trasnfer tasks,in this way,every device could reduce the trasnfer load. And the transmission task would not be stopped when some devices are disconnected.In order to share the task,we must test constantly whether the new devices added.I use SQLite as database to record breakpoints.The connected devices could share tasks which belong to the disconnected ones previously.Even if the current devices are all disconnected,the task is also later continue with the connnected ones. In this case, we could improve the utilization of the resources.Base on understanding the operating mechanism of android bluetooth,I develop the application after getting a detail analysis on user needs.
