Design And Achievement Of VoIP Resource Management System Base On WAMP

Subject describes how to design and program a database system of VoIP resourcemanagement base on B/S structure according to the real requirements of X ChinaCompany Limited IT team, to solve the key problems which are caused by the currentmanagement method. The system is designed, developed and setup with functionalmodules. The primary scope is that the administrators how to manage VoIP resourceorderly and control the process. User information management module, IP Telephonystock management module, Voice Gateway assets management module, DIDmanagement module, customized export and report generation module, action logmodule and etc are included in the system.The system is for X company internal only and the it will be implemented in BeijingHQ first and then be spreaded to other branches IT team of GCG gradually.Considering of the buget limitation and requirements, the system is based on WAMP(Microsoft Windows Server+Apache Server+MySQL Database+PHP) structures.Most of the softwares are open-source system except Windows which needs to buylicense. This platform is mature with plenty of resources which leads the design anddevelopement to success. IT administrators who work closely with process and befamilier with the requirements and current problems will take part in the design andprogramming work directly. The system is programmed with Waterfall model whichcan be devided into several steps as requirements analysis and information collection,system and database design, programing, testing and production.Base on above scopes and methods, setting up an entire VoIP resource managementsystem database for X China company limited to let IT administrators login thesystem web page and to manage the IMAC of VoIP users, DID number range, voicegateways, IPTs and stock status without breaking the current work process andpolicies. It changes the situations and make big progress on solving confusion andincompletion of VoIP resources. Matching the completed user information, whichmakes looking up and the validation run more easily and effectively with the system.It insteads original paper and spread sheet management, increases the security level,convenience and efficiency. It also can decrease the workload to administrators andthe ratio of problems occurence.
