Study On Military TV Program "Ba Yu Soldiers"

Military TV programs have always been regarded as an essential part of TVprograms due to their important roles in transmitting military news, developing nationaldefense education and maintaining a good military image."Bayu Soldiers" is aChongqing’s local military news and periodical TV program, which uniquelycontributes much to the propaganda of national defense achievement, the demonstrationof soldiers’ elegance, the popularization of knowledge of national defense, and theintroduction of military hotspot home and abroad in Chongqing municipality. The threesections under the program are "Military Week-browse","Deep-focus" and "NationalDefense View". These three sections represent three different types of programs, namelyare, military news, military documentaries and military science.Based on the case study of the program "Bayu Soldiers" and using quantitative andqualitative research method, the present paper made an in-depth analysis of its content,endeavored to look into the advantage and disadvantage of the program, and attemptedto put forward reasonable development strategies.
