The high-end fault-tolerant servers is not only widely used in industrial,aerospace,it in other fields also plays a significant role in power scheduling,banking transactions and settlement, communications, securities transactions relatedto the critical areas of people’s livelihood and national strategic security. But thehigh-end fault-tolerant servers is mainly monopolized by foreign companies,China’s imports of high-end fault-tolerant servers need to spend several times theordinary price of the server. Therefore, the development of high-end fault-tolerantservers with independent property rights becomes the imperative.The target machine, the fault injection machine and the execution of the testmachine need to transmit the test data and command to the other two in theevaluation process of the high-end fault-tolerant computer. The use of traditionalnetwork or serial port to transfer data and commands will affect the testing processand results of the measured target. In response to this phenomenon, the paperdesigns and implements new communication device on the USB port.By analyzing the USB specification and the CY7C68013chip developmenttechnology, design the overall communications program, including the structure ofthe hardware device, at all levels of communication protocols and traffic types andstandards, and on this basis, designs and implements the hardware devices andsupporting software for communications equipment. In the evaluation process of thehigh-end fault-tolerant computer, the device will not only not cause the error for thenetwork load test results, but also will not affect the testing process of the APIfunctions, and the experimental results show that the device can achievecross-platform and no-error data transmission.The scope of application of the device which this paper develops not only inthis project, but also in the case of network inconvenience or card damage, canrealize the short-range transfer of data. on the basis of this subject thecommunication device can be further expanded, the new communications device onthe basis of USB port similar to the router but do not require card.
