With the development of Electronics manufacturing industry, it is highly competitive in itsmarket environment nowadays. When the enterprise has developed to a certain scale, the factsofwhether its new product can promote fast, whether the product design related documentmanagement is scientific, whether the product development and other business processes areefficient, and whether collaboration is smooth will become a big obstacle of expandingenterprise scale, reducing costs of research and development, increasing product profits.In order to change this situation, many electronic manufacturing companies have mademany attempts. They use advanced technology and philosophy, implement simple ProductData Management (PDM) system at first, then turn to use Product Lifecycle Management(PLM) System. They hope that by implementing the PLM systems, manage and keep theproduct in the various stages of the life cycle of information, serves for product research anddevelopment department better, Strengthen collaboration, make the business processes morestandard, make a more clear unobstructed flow state at the same time. Electronicmanufacture enterprise Y involves the massive material data in the electronic wire gaugeproduct research and development service the maintenance work, which materials codingand name specifications described work is very important. The company hopes to describethe relevant information to understand the material through the material number and NameSpecifications, developed a set of coding principles to be applied to different types ofmaterials. The encoding of each one is given a specific meaning, and research anddevelopment engineers need to be prepared in accordance with the coding principles whichwas time-consuming and easy to make a mistake. Although the PLM system has the materialmanagement module of correspondence, but can only automatically have the serialnumber-type insignificant material code. The complex, noted that the code continues to bemaintained manually, time-consuming. At the same time, researches and develops engineerin order to avoid establishing the repetition material, through inquiring existing material codejudges whether needs to increase the material, but because codes is too long and hard to identify, it is easy to create a duplicate materials. Moreover, in front of the PLM systembeing implemented, part as well as the bom data is establishes in the JDE system, After thesystem implementation, JDE system will be replaced as a source of product data, and how toachieve PLM system to transfer material, BOM data to the JDE system in order to avoidduplication of data maintenance is also required to solve the problem.To solve the above problem, the paper designs and implements a PLM system in the largeelectronics manufacturers in implementing Oracle Agile PLM system as the background tosolve the PLM user for the above requirements, and successful on-line in the company.This paper has the following characteristics compared with other similar systems,1) Material coding and Name Specification Description automatically generate functional.Material code will be composed of meaning coding specification defines the content ofthe materials properties New materials data, users only need to maintain the materialproperties, without writing complex material encoded with Name Specificationdescribes the system based on the composition of the material properties that aremaintained in line with the coding principle Name Specification Description R&Dengineers to improve the efficiency of the product data and reduce the risk oferrors.Successfully achieved the function of checking redundant material automaticallyby secondary development, which using Agile Event framework. Greatly reduce thejunk materials data generated in system.2) Solve material data establishment process duplicated verification problem.The attributeinvolves which the material code took material data duplication verification basis, whennewly built preservation in the automatic inspection system had the material datasituation and springs the warning, controls the PLM system trash material data theproduction, rear end guaranteed researches and develops the office work the validity.3) Solve plm system to jde system data integration problem. Product material data, bomdata electronic processes audit process is completed automatically data transfer to jdesystem, to prevent users from duplicate materials data across systems maintenance, toensure that the back-end the jde systems material data source is reliable and consistent.
