The Research On Information System Integration Of NXP Jilin Company

NXP Jilin company is a middle-small joint venture manufacturing factory basedin northeast of China,because of lacking information construction overall planning,various information systems in this company, such as enterprise resources planningsystem, workshop management system, and office automation system which weregradually introduced can not interconnect and Interworking with each other, causingthe information within systems can not be communicated and shared effectively.Thissituation brings the execution efficiency issues, collaborative working issues andtimely issues of obtaining integrated decision-making information to the management,which reduces the overall efficiency and competitiveness of company.Through the analysis of current situation of NXP Jilin’s information systems, itbelieves in this article that the large variety and low integration of the systemresulting in isolation of information and processes,which has negative impaction onthe development of the company. Combined with the research on enterprisedevelopment strategy and operation mode, it believes that system integration is thebest solution to resolve the current problems. Through adopting the integrated theoryand technology of information applications, it analysed the requirement ofinformation system improvement from integrated data, and integrated application andintegrated business process three levels, and designed solution scheme by developingand setting up integrated system interfaces, compositive system functionality andisolated systems’ connections, to achieve the automatical data transmission betweendifferent applications and departments, and to lead the reconsideration andimprovement of organization and business process, also to provide managersintegrated decision-making information through the data analysis system constructedon the integrated data sharing platforms. It believes in this article that implementation of information system integrationcan lead the conjunction between isolated and scattered data sources, applications andsystems, to achieve effective delivery and full sharing of information, which canscientific and standardize enterprise management and provide uniform and smoothinformation services, so as to improve the communication, coordination andcollaboration across the company, to improve overall company efficiency. It believesthat this study has a certain practical significance to similar size of domesticmanufacturing enterprise.
