This paper is based on the target natural resonance frequency relating toobject structure characteristic. Making use of UWB shock pulse conductsexcitation signal to obtain Radar Cross Section of the target. According tosingularity expiation method(SEM), to extract the objectives natural resonancefrequency distribution designs chipless radio frequency (RF) Tag. Then, research the coding of the Tag. The content in the paper mainly includes thefollowing:First, to research about the chipless RF Tags’ structure the slot numbers ofthe Tag under finite area condition. A new type of chipless tag structure isdesigned, it is butterfly Tag. It is notch Tag, which is based on naturalresonance frequency without any electronic components and sending andreceiving antenna. Two triangle length of side30mm placed Symmetry is itsfeature.Second, to analyzing the Tag structure scattering fields’ simulation. Toresearch scattering signal wave characteristic under in certain radar beam thesurface of Tag, as well as affecting Tag radar scattering section factors. maincontents refer to affect scattering fields factors include numbers of notch in theTag, incidence direction, direction of polarization, dielectric material as well asenvironment and so on. The paper obtains great number of data.Last, to research encode scheme of Tag. The principle and implement of thetag pole encode and improve spectral amplitude coding and hybrid coding wayin the paper.
