The analysis and prediction of radar cross section (RCS) has always been animportant topic of electromagnetic theory analysis.Some methods are proposed to compute the RCS. Low frequency method is hybridmoment method. One is asymptotic waveform evaluation and the other one is waveletmoment method. Hybrid moment methods overcome the shortcoming that momentmethod is unfit for the electrically large size problems and broaden the use range. Withprecision unaffected, the powerful methods reduce the complexity and computationtime and deal with complex structures efficiently and conveniently. High frequencymethod centers on physical optics (P0) method. Some numerical methods are analyzedto solve the P0 integral. These methods are: stationary phase method fast Fouriertransform (FFT) method, Gordon's method. With P0 method, the RCS pattern of thepillars on a ship is computed.
