Radar cross section(RCS) is a key indicator in target characteristic of radar, which is one of important means to study target’s stealth and anti-stealth technology. So the research of the target radar cross section is important and significance. Android system is an open source system which is widely used, because it has a high speed of process and the terminal is easy to carry. Some high frequency algorithms including physical optics(PO), physical diffraction theory(PTD) and ray tracing(RT) method combines development environments of Android was researched in this paper to develop computer software of target’s RCS. The main work and innovation of this paper can be summarized as following:(1)Focused on the analysis of scattering phenomenology theory as well as some theoretical features of the RCS(concept, analysis method), to achieve the theoretical calculation of some common scattering objects by combining the high-frequency scattering methods.(2)A single station RCS calculating software with simple targets(rectangular plates, ellipsoid, cylinder) was developed by using Android’s development environment. The software had been achieved users login, feedback, RCS calculation by using activity, service, content providers and SQLite. Calculation module unite different high-frequency methods to mix programming.(3)Simple targets of the RCS calculation software was optimized, and complex target was developed. RCS software with complex targets was developed by Using Auto CAD modeling for complex targets, and physical optics, the physical diffraction theory, ray tracing as well as OpenGL graphics processing technology were used.(4)For the common computing software of RCS can’t be used by mobile terminal devices. In this paper, basis on analyzing and improving software of PC side computing targets with RCS, a target computer software with Android which overcoming the above shortcomings was proposed.
