Design Of Control System For Multiturn Hot Rolled Narrow Strip Baler

With the rapid development of iron and steel industry technology, the variety of theproduct is more and more diversified, narrow steel strip as a kind of important industrialproducts, its production is becoming more and more higher, narrow steel strapping processas the last procedure of a narrow steel strip production line, directly affect the quality andquantity of the narrow steel strip production.Specific to the issues about the low automatic degree and production efficiency of thebaling process of the domestic iron and steel enterprises, the big labor intensity of workersand the extravagant price of the foreign machine, etc., this article proposes the electricalcontrol system design scheme of the automatic steel bunding machine. The automatic steelbunding machine, the paper referred, is a special machine for the banding of steel coil，which fills our state’s blank of the technology in the banding of steel coil.Firstly, this paper introduces the strapping machine’s studying background anddeveloping condition both at home and abroad, predicts its development prospects, andintroduces the steel strapping machine’s structure and workflow.Secondly, this paper introduces the general designing plan of electric control system,which includes the analysis of the requirements for controlling, designing of principlediagram and control cabinet, the program flow of the host computer and slave computer.The steel tape strapping machine adopts SIEMENS AG’s S7-300PLC, the mainstream inthe industrial controlling field, as the control center, greatly improving the degree ofautomation in the entire project.Finally, the human-computer interface of the whole control system is designed. Thisinterface makes such functions as manual/semi-automatic/automatic control, parametersetting and fault diagnosis realized. Therefore, the whole system has a good operability,and the difficulty of system maintenance is reduced.
