The setting machine is the equipment which is used for shaping the wide industrial cloth and industrial network (hereinafter referred to as fabric) in the suitable temperature and suitable tension, thereby improving the flatness of the surface of the fabric to meet the product's requirements.According to the technological requirements,we will divide the whole setting process into four parts to control. The main control of active roll is to control the speed of the active roller, so as to control the transmission speed of the fabric; Tension control part is to control the tesion roll and the tension frame before and after moving, so the fabric can be longitudinal tension set. The tentering control part is main to control the tenter motor moves back and forth, so the fabric can be transverse tensile.The temperature control part is main to control the temperature of heat sealing, and make the fabric in the setting temperature contracted to the required width.This thesis is derived from the actual project "7 m setting machine of Henan Huaxin industry Co., Ltd". It based on the traditional setting machine, improved the tentering device and designed unique needle plate stretching device. Study on setting machine electrical control system and control program, using the touch screen for PC, programmable controller, temperature controller, three-phase power regulator as the core control device, in accordance with the requirements of the industrial network to realize automatic stereotypes. On the basis of setting machine process and technological requirements, firstly the thesis proposes the general scheme of setting machine control system; secondly each control part of the control object is analyzed in detail, and a mathematical model is established. On this basis, in order to solve the problem that fabric heat shrinkage in the tentering setting process. Variable structure meet limit weaken integral PID controller was applied to the setting machine tentering control system.According to the whole control system functional requirements, considering the reliability of the system, analysis and design the hardware system which is used the Delta's temperature controller, shimade's three-phase power regulator, the S7-200 PLC of Siemens as the controller. Use the MCGS-TPC7062K series's touch screen of Kun Lun Tong Tai for the realization of the real time monitoring and control.Field equipment operation shows, through the high precision control elements and advanced control algorithm, the setting machine control system in the normal operation, easy to operation, to a large extent reduce the labor intensity of operating staff. It greatly enhance the automation degree of the fabric setting.
