Reasoning Research Of Chinese Chess Endgame Based On Expert System

The research of Chinese chess is always a hot and difficult field in computer games.It can be widely used to the research of Artificial intelligence, Man-machine game andmany other fields. Currently, the researches of chess opening and middle game havereached a certain degree. In comparison, the study of chess endgame is relatively weakand lack of, need to be strengthen sequentially. The application of expert system in thereasoning research of Chinese chess endgame can help players predict the result of a chessendgame with the experiences of the domain experts.Firstly, it illustrates the methods mainly from two aspects of knowledge acquirementand representation, the types and the values of the chess pieces. It adopts production torepresent the knowledge rules of chess endgame and the credibility of each rule was givenmeanwhile. Then the Chinese chess endgame knowledge base was constructed on thebasis of the mass knowledge we have acquired.Secondly, it expounds the realizing process of the inference engine through theanalysis of the chess endgame, and determines the direction, the matching algorithm andthe conflict resolution strategy of the inference engine. Then the credibility and itscalculation methods of the reasoning results were given.Thirdly, it mainly verifies the conclusions through the experiment combined with theproposed solution procedure and algorithm from two parts, the knowledge base fileconversion and the realization of the inference engine, four endgame instances were givento prove the conclusion, and then the efficiency of the system was analyzed also. Finally, itdiscussed the concept of the Chinese chess endgame database and the application of thesystem in the computer games from three aspects, chess endgame database, search enginesand evaluate, then discussed the current challenges and difficulties in the research ofChinese chess endgame, some recommendations was put forward also at the last.
