The Research And Application On Inference Engine In Expert System

Expert System is the most important and active in Artificial Intelligence application areas, it achieved a major breakthrough by artificial intelligence from theoretical research to practical applications, from general inference strategy to exploring on the use of the expertise. Using specific areas of expertise, through inference to simulate human experts usually could be resolved by the various complex and specific issues, it is a wisdom procedures computer system with equal ability on solving the problem by the experts. But the design and development for Expert Systems is not an easy task, which includes a large number of cumbersome and complex process in which the design and application of inference is a difficult one. Inference Engine is one of components in the realization of knowledge-based expert system, which is an important and indispensable expert system component, including two aspects. One is inference, the other is control. Therefore, the research on Inference Engine in Expert System will help promoting further advancement of knowledge in the field of technical and development.This paper analyzes the design and implementation of High-Strength concrete Expert System based on the research of concrete durability, which is concern with the system structure, knowledge representation method, organization of knowledge base and control strategy in Inference Engine. Through the research on principles and design strategies of Inference Engine in Expert System, it can solve some improper operation as a whole resulting from the inappropriate design Expert System.In the first place, it is the introduction based on the Expert System and Inference Engine logistics, then analysis how the logistics develop in China and abroad. At last the dissertation introduces the main contents.Additionally, the paper analyses the construction and operation principles of Inference Engine in Expert System, including the direction of inference and strategies of control, and discusses the problems and strategies when Inference Engine is designed.Last, against a research on High-Strength concrete Expert System, the paper analyses the overall framework of the system, highlighted the design and realization of methods of Inference Engine. And using the application of Expert System, we can understand how to design an effective Inference Engine to create an ideal Expert System.
