Research On The Government Image In Environmental News

This paper intends to discuss the relationship between environmental journalism andthe construction of government image. On the theoretical basis of government image,this study tries to analyze the environmental news by the methods combined withframing analysis, literature analysis and case analysis. The first part talks about theorigin of the study and clarifies the relationship between the image of the governmentand environmental journalism. The most important part is the research on the issueframe and the discourse frame in environmental news, and summarizing thegovernment image by the data and cases. The conclusions are as follows, by thepromotion of various practical factors, environmental journalism is not only the mainpublic massage channel, but also the important way to construct the image of thegovernment. The government should learn how to take advantages of the media.This paper puts the theory of government image in the research of environmentaljournalism. Besides, the innovation is the category construction of framing analysis.The last but not the least, the study still has sample problems and Subjective bias.
