In recent years, people pay more attention to physical examination (PE)and disease prevention with the improvement of their living standard. PE hasbeen become a primary service of the hospital. Without the assist ofspecialized Physical Examination Information System (PEIS), the PE centerfaced a lot of problems before: the entering of the PE project is complicated;The management of the PE process is not humanized enough, easy to causedisputes; the result of the PE is totally collected by handwork, which leads tothe long PE circle and low efficiency, strongly affecting the normal service ofthe hospital. Therefore, in order to achieve the goal of digital hospitalconstruction and to improve the competitiveness of PE service, the design of aset of fast and stable, intelligent and efficient PEIS is imperative.this paper firstly reviews the goals and process of the construction ofdigital hospital; introduces the Caché database used in the medical systemand its related technologies in development and application; conductingin-depth requirements analysis combining with the practical situation of PE inour hospital; designing the system and dividing the functional module on thebasis of the completed system requirement. Meanwhile, designing the theprogram about the exchanging data between the PEIS and other hospitalsystems and introduces the design of Caché database and the realization ofthe core module. This system is mainly for the following studying: adopting the databaseCaché used in the overseas advanced medical field,storing the data throughmultidimensional array, reducing the connection between forms, achieving fastdata access; the ECP protocol implements the three-tier architecture, Cachéapplication server caching the active data block to lighten the access press ofmain database, support multiple concurrent access; the functional componentdevelopment technology based on CSP technology,make process throughworkflow supervisor, building different components into different work lists;Develop uniform interface in the Ensemble platform, integrating PACS in theform of WebServices technology and XML document, LIS and other businessresources subsystem, to realize automatically collect physical examinationresult; Providing the function of knowledge base management system, thesystem will make intelligence analysis according to a PE result and give apreliminary conclusion and recommendation,shortening the examinationperiod and reducing misdiagnosis.At present, the PEIS has been developed and successfully launched withsafe and stable operation,which Reducing the workload of doctors, and betterserving the customer. This paper makes a certain discussion and research onthe Caché database information system development and implementation ofthe method by combining with the system development process and theworking practice. Proving a certain reference value on designing multilayerstructure database system, developing the business logic based on the CSPcomponentization technology and realization of hospital data integration.
