Wireless communication technology is developing towards high automation andintelligence in the digital information society. More and more burgeoning businessrequirement is the catalyst of new type wireless network technology. Wireless sensornetwork has shown powerful momentum depend on the features of low-power, low-costin numerous fields. ZigBee technology is a rising wireless network technology featureon low-cost, low-data-rate, short-range. Wireless sensor network bases on ZigBeetechnology is an advanced solution for smart network, it has extensive applicationprospect.A wireless data acquisition system based on ZigBee is designed andimplementation in this paper. Firstly, introduces detailedly basic concept, primaryfeature and architecture, current study situation and so on. Secondly, introduces theZigBee specification architecture, analyzing seriously IEEE802.15.4and thearchitecture of ZigBee protocol stack, researching deeply main function and realizemechanism for every layer of the protocol. Thirdly, using CC2530and SHT11toestablish a wireless sensor network hardware platform based on ZigBee afterresearching the technology theory, designs the node program and GUI control centerprogram aiming at temperature and humidity data collecting function. At last, tests thewhole system and summarizes the study result.
