The Design And Implementation Of Mobile Digital Campus Integration Platform

The digital campus which is based on the Internet, using a variety of terminal(such as: desktop computer, notebook computer, etc.) through broadband Internetaccess, wireless internet access and other means, intergrate the academy teaching andcourse scheduling system, library management system together, and supportinformation query, interactive and multimedia education. So as to realize the digitalcampus. Students and faculty can use a variety of terminal to obtain information aboutthe campus. With the rapid development and popularity Mobile Internet, if the digitalcampus information could look up by mobile terminals (such as mobile phones),which is a new way for students and faculty to access campus information anywhereand any time and it also could improve the management and efficiency of schooleducation. Mobile digital campus is the applications which is developed by mobilephone and other mobile device. To implement this new and convenient service need tohave the application system to provide enough data to support the school campus. Andbecause each application system in the school are used alone, and there is nocorrelation between the database system, so the system is relatively independent. Thisrequires to use data intergration method which will be integrated the dispersedinformation resources into a system so as to form the data center system.In this paper, it analysis the requirement of the mobile digital campus integratedplatform, and implements the integration of the system data of school by analysisingand designing.The purpose of the integration platform is to achieve data storage andsharing. In the face of the complicated application software in the school and thesituation that development and application platform is not unifying. In order toachieve the purpose of uniform access, we choose Web Services as the data serviceoffering which integrated all Web Services interface which provide by all schoolsystems, so as to form a good data center system. The platform includes three parts:Web site management, Web Services server and database.Among them, Web site management is mainly to provide the users which areproviding the services (the person that managed the school application system) toprovide and manage Web Services interface information. The database is to storeinformation about users and Web Services. The role of Web Services server is togenerate the server agent which is based on the service description file which isprovided by service provider, the service caller (usually the programmer) called WebService interface by the server terminal, Server proxy call the data according to theWeb Services related information stored in the database, the data will be converted into JSON format for the service caller. The service caller can be parsed according tothe JSON data example provided by Web site.Implementation of the integration platform, can provide abundant data resourcesfor the development of mobile digital campus programmer, then is convenient forstudents and staff to look up and modify the information etc..
