The rapid development of3d visualization technology and the reality of teachingequipments and methods having shortcomings at present make virtual laboratory’sconstruction become an effective mode to promote educational informationization, andgradually make it becomes one hot spot of research and application on experimentteaching both at home and abroad in recent years. How to construct the virtuallaboratory becomes an important research subject in virtual teaching field.This subject gives a comprehensive comparison analysis to the mode of modernexperimental teaching, application cases and development trend of virtual laboratorytechnology at home and abroad, on the basis of comprehensive understanding theadvantages and research meanings of virtual laboratory system, we put forwardconstructing a3d virtual sensor system to improve the shortcomings of the traditionalteaching. On the base of fully researching the system principle of each experientialmodules and the key technologies of virtual reality, we give requirement analysis aboutapplication and function systematically, based on the conclusion, put forward buildingideas and the total design scheme, and complete the selection of building tools andexperimental contents; Then complete the models building of one-way piezoelectricsensors, glass broken alarm system, piezoelectric perimeter alarm system, mining bufferstops system and the related animation created in3ds max by using KEY FRAMEmethod,dynamics,expression controller method, calls the action library and othermethods. Finally, design a sensor virtual laboratory system independently which is usedfor classroom teaching and student’s learning independently by synthetically using thetools of Photoshop CS3,Adobe Premiere CS3,Gold Wave,Microsoft Visual Studio2005and OpenSceneGraph2.8.3.After the research and exploration, the system has a good interface, realizes theroaming in experimental scene, the selection and information real-time display oflaboratory equipment, the starting and stopping of model animation, video simulation ofexperiment process, audio interpretation, static interactive between interfaces and thedesign of particle effects. The test shows that this system has stable performance;convenient operation and it can improve the students’ learning efficiency and reduce teachers’ burden.
