The Research Of Virtual Laboratory And Its Multi-Party Cooperation, Interaction Mechanism Based On Virtools

With the rapid development of computer network and multimedia technology, high-level education idea and means have come to a new historical period. The limitations of traditional laboratory mode increasingly emerge in scale, equipment updating and investment. Especially for the field of distance education, it is facing with time and space restrict. In recent years, the teaching way of virtual lab becomes an efficient trend. Compared with the traditional laboratory, virtual lab reduces the purchase cost of equipment, and brings more safe experimental operation process, simple maintenance. Also, it is conducive to the realization of resource sharing and has no limit of time and space. Therefore, it rapidly develops and is recognized by educators and learners who work in long distance education field.This paper is based on the computer network and multimedia technology, meeting the teaching demand of the computer communication network. Also, the author studies and discusses the methods of construction of 3D virtual laboratory and gives the scheme of building the collaborative and interactive virtual laboratory.Firstly, this paper does research on how to make use of 3D modeling technology, virtual reality technology and B/S mode to the building of online 3D virtual laboratory which is mainly used for providing the user with a laboratory platform for interactive. The author does research on virtual experiment module construction method, focusing on the experiment scene and modeling, functional simulation and interactive design. Based on computer network lab, with 3ds Max, Virtools technology we do the virtual laboratory and the virtual experiment construction.Select the H3C device as the simulation object, simulate the operating steps in computer network experiment, including the equipment connection, equipment parameters and the command configuration, network connectivity test and other major steps. Besides, the author studies the collaborative work which function is to provide collaboration and interactive services for the collaborative experiment users, focusing on the experimental module and server, ensuring the multiplayer online experiments. After reading a lot of domestic and international studies about the virtual laboratory and the collaborative performance, according to the laboratory, the author gets five aspects as multiple user access, perception, conflict prevention, the exchange of user and management. Propose a set of cooperation mechanism design which is applicable to virtual laboratory, and then do some tests in Virtools environment on the results of these studies.Finally, the author summarizes the research and development work, put forward some improvements and directions in the future research.
