The Research And Practice Of Resource Management System Of Shandong Telecommunications

Pipelines and experiment resources are key resources used by China Telecom. They directly reflect the company’s capacity in customer coverage and completely manifest its core competitiveness. The construction of the network has been developing so fast that the resource management system of China Telecom Shandong, which was gone live in2003, can not meet the company’s needs any more. To manage the resources more effectively and support the construction of the network as well as the development of the market better, one urgent task for China Telecom Shandong is to establish a new system of resource management.This study is designed to solve the problem.Firstly, the current situation of resource management system of China Telecom Shandong, some specific problems of the construction such as the aim,the task, the rules as well as the modules and characters of the function are described. Secondly, the design of the system including requirement analysis, overall design, specific design of the storage system and the interfaces are discussed. Next, this paper analyzes both the function design and implement plan of the system, meanwhile the operational approach and instances are explained too. According to project,the paper makes a deep research on the rules of local resource management of China Telecom, and makes detailed updating procedure separately corresponding to the seven factors which cause the modification of the resource. Finally,the paper introduces the practice of the operational maintenance of local resource management of China Telecom Shandong in detail.
