The Investigation And Implementation Of Telecommunication Resource Management System

With the development of communication technology, the amount of resources within the enterprise(here refers to the communication line resource, the same below) show exponential growth. This management method and the original system has brought considerable amount of the system running pressure. At present, the communication resource management system used by many telecommunication enterprises is quite old, for example by this text, communication resource management system-the original equipment base system(hereinafter referred to as the old equipment database) was designed and set up more than 10 years ago. Both the hardware and software of the old equipment database have many unstable factors. Therefore, to ensure data security and high availability is a key to remove these unsafe factors.This paper, by study and research the characteristics of the communication resources and the management system of it, and reference the old system, aims to design and set up new communication resource management system(in this paper, also referred to as the new equipment database), thereby greatly enhancing the safety and availability of resource data. This paper includes the following aspects: Designment of system management module, the system administrator provides organization, user groups, users and permissions management functions. Providing a password modification, cancellation of the user; research and design resource management module, make the resource management includes the original two set of system parts; research and design working order management module, providing job approval process and working order statistical inquiry function; research and design of spare parts management module, to provide spare parts management and query function. The searching and replacement can be done locally with the very same system. Thus greatly reduces the fault processing time, improve the communication resource management system with its using value; study design of data transfer and guest ring interface. By realize the data transfer from the original database to the new equipment database, to ensure data is complete and correct. Provide interface between the new system and the customer responding center interface.At the end of this paper, analysis of the characteristics and shortages of the communication resource management system(new equipment database) established by this paper was shown, and at the meantime prospected the trend of development in communication resource management system.
