Based on the problems that exists in the current business process managementsoftware, such as the software cannot separate the business logic of business processfrom application process, it lacks of support of changes in the demand for businessprocess, it does not support self-defined business process form. This thesis researchesand analysis from two perspectives that contain visualization process definition andprocess business forms custom, designs and implements a software developmentsupporting system based on process description. Through the use of softwaredevelopment platform based on the system described in this thesis, after the steps ofprocess definition, design of business process form and database table, the user canquickly construct specific business process management software.In the thesis, the method and theory of Oriented-process software development isfirstly introduced, then following the related knowledge, which includes the softwarearchitecture, the finite state machine, AJAX and so on, and then the description ofprocess definition is given, based on the finite state machine model, finally, theoverall architecture of the system, the design of process engine, the functional moduledesign of visual process editor and form designer subsystem, and then the concreterealization of the functional modules for each subsystem are given.In addition, the thesis also constructs Leave Approve System and Lung CancerDiagnosis System by the software development supporting system based on processdescription. Based on this experiment, it not only illustrates the steps of the softwaredevelopment process based on process description, but also proves that, the softwareconstruction, which is based on the software development supporting system based onprocess description, can shorten the software development cycle and reduces thedevelopment costs, reflects its good scalability, and reusability. Finally, the results ofresearch are summarized at the end and presented in this paper there are stillshortcomings.
