| With the enrollment expansion of Chinese higher institutions since1999, poverty-stricken students population has been increasing greatly, which causes a widespread social concern on the financial aiding management for poverty-stricken college students. Due to the increase on aiding programs and fund amount from the state, higher education institutions and society, the traditional manual or semi-manual information management system shows disadvantages as great intensity of labor, low-efficiency and Error-prone. Besides, the paper-based application and approval process make the search, classify and summarize proceed inconvenient, as well as the scientific data analysis difficult.This paper proposed a Web-based resolution scheme for poverty-stricken college students information management system with the base and the application of Web,.Net and database technology, as well as with the backing of the campus web, in order to meet the scientific management requirements of informationization, internetizing, precision and paperless, in the background the state has strengthened the finanial aided to poverty-stricken college students. By comprehensively analyzing the current management situation on poverty-stricken college students and the existing research, the significance of developing a dedicated MIS (management information system) has been discussed. In the meantime, technologies of Web, ASP.NET and database have been analyzed and researched. The system development and realization process involve requirements analysis, system overall design, database design, system detailed design, interface design&realization, and system testing. And a Web-based MIS is established with the functions of students’ basic information submission, financial aid application, colleges(departments) approval, university approval, statistics, search and report export.As a probe for promoting the informationization of the poverty-stricken college students management, this system has realized the goal of complete information, efficient application and approval management, quick statistics search, fine confidentiality, low cost, which reifies the diverse and large amount of information management on poverty-stricken students, and visualizes and rationalizes the aid funding management. |
