Research And Design Of Student Dormitory Access Control System Based On The Second Generation Of ID Cards

The student dormitory access control system can manage student dormitory effectively. It can prevent unauthorized persons in and out the dormitory, avoid troublous accident, protect student’s life and property, and construct a harmonious campus. Therefore, the system has become a interest topic in research and application.This dissertation researches a student dormitory access control system based on the second generation of ID cards, which includes identification student information, student and user data management, integrated query, data backup and recovery.The system is implemented by SDK technology of ID cards reader, C/S network mode, PowerBuilder development tool and Oracle database management system.The dissertation describes the process from requirement analysis to implementation. Firstly, it analyses organization and management mode of the access control system, and therefore gives system model. Secondly, it constructs functions modules, static state data structure, and dynamic action. Then, it provides implementation processes of all modules and scheme, software architecture, database design, and some key technologies. Finally, it proposes some study contents and improvement methods for the future.
