| Inquiry learning emphasizes students’ self development, in the background of the new curriculum reform of basic education, more and more by the educators favor. General self-efficacy is the individual in the face of the overall self-confidence of new things, it is an important psychological index. Previous studies have shown that inquiry learning can inhibit students’ general self-efficacy decreased. This study through the Guilin school district to a class as an example, it is concluded that the inquiry learning to promote school class the students a sense of general self-efficacy promotion. Research using the international has good reliability and validity of the general self efficacy scale (General Self-Efficacy Scale, GSES) as a measure of the questionnaire, the results are as follows:After a semester of study, students’ general self-efficacy has significant improvement. If the general self-efficacy is divided into weak, in general, stronger at three levels, it can be found that the number of the second grade is larger, and relatively stable. First, a considerable number of general self-efficacy is stronger and weaker, but in the end, the weaker people decreased significantly, the strong man significantly increased. General self-efficacy increased more than the number of the same and to the number of people of decreased, the number of girls increased more than boys. Before and after the measurements, both male and female students’ general self-efficacy scores have improved significantly, but the boys are higher than girls. In the former measurement, both male and female students’ general self-efficacy scores were lower than grade overall scores, male and female students, general self-efficacy significantly, boys and girls in general self-efficacy of significant difference. The latter measurement, general self-efficacy scores were higher than grade overall scores of male and female students, no significant difference between male and female students. Research shows that different from rational thinking study conclusion in general, girls can also have a good development in Inquiry Learning. However, the boys score distribution tends to be concentrated, scores of girls is more discrete distribution. After a period of time of the latter measurement by tracking survey on the students found that, the students’ general self-efficacy has declined, but higher than the pretest score. That inquiry learning results influence on students is not stable for a semester, it need a long-term learning intervention to promote students’ general self-efficacy. Research on the relationship between learning achievement and general self-efficacy and its variation found that, there is no significant correlation, this is due to the ease of different grades and failed to fully investigate performance of different students’ academic level. |
