The paper summarizes the dynamic development of the present research on self-efficacy. On the basis of this research, with the reference to the related domestic and abroad scales and the actual employment situation of the college graduates, a questionnaire about perceived self-efficacy of college students is invented, which including two separate parts, namely, the questionnaire of self-efficacy of pursuing master degree and that of seeking a job.The objects of this research are assumed to be college graduates. By adopting the questionnaire about self-efficacy of college students and the general self-efficacy scale as the measuring tools, and with investigating and analyzing of the factors that influence the college students in job-hunting, the following conclusions are drawn: 1. The intensity of self-efficacy is a vital factor that determines the choices of the college students. Obvious relations exist between the intensity of self-efficacy of pursuing master degree and the final decision of being a postgraduate. Equally, there are strong connections between the intensity of self-efficacy of working and the determination of being employed. 2. The intensity of self-efficacy of pursuing master degree is obviously influenced by the individual's scores, gender and the nature of the university. 3. The intensity of self-efficacy of working is remarkably affected by the individual's scores, social practice, gender, and the nature of the university. 4. The general self-efficacy of the college students shows an obvious association with their scores, gender and the nature of their major. |
