Research On Sports Games On Urban Sports Culture

BackgroundWith the economic development and industrial restructuring, town urbanization is progressing steadily. Many small cities are increasingly interested in sports events. Sporting events is a catalyst for urban development, can promote the development of the city on the city’s cultural, economic, and social impacts.City sports culture is a part of urban culture. Sports events has a direct impact on promoting sports material culture, spiritual culture and system culture. By studying the impact of sports events on the sports culture of the town, we can organize sports events for the city better. This study provide theoretical and practical support to contribute the new town urbanization.Object and MethodsThis study gives an empirical analyse on Holding the Asian Beach Games in Haiyang City through field research on the county-level city Haiyang, reference of related literature in the academic papers database like CNKI (Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure) and websites reports, interview of the experts on the world of sports and the city manager and other methods.(1) Study the effects of the Games on the urban development of Haiyang;(2) Investigate the status of Haiyang sports culture;(3) Analysis the factors that influence the development of Haiyang sports culture;(4) Propose strategies of the development of Haiyang sports culture.Results1. Asian Beach Games have the following impacts on the development of Haiyang:(1) Through media reports, Haiyang is known to more people;(2) Haiyang is build to a leisure and sports beach city;(3) Speed of town constitution is faster;(4) Spiritual civilization is promoted;(5) Sustainable economic development is achieved;(6) Sports culture is developed.2. Status of Haiyang sports culture:(1) Lack of awareness of the sports culture;(2) Lack of innovation of the sports culture;(3) Development of traditional sports cultural is not satisfied;(4) Channels of sports culture communication are imperfect.3. Factors affecting the development of Haiyang sports culture in the future:(1) Government Behavior;(2) Social Environment;(3) Rural Sports Culture;(4) Subsequent exploitation of the sports industry.4. Strategies on the development of Haiyang sports culture:(1) Enhancethe soft power of sports culture;(2) Improve the innovation of town sports culture;(3) Increase the regional spread of sports culture.Conclusions1. Asian Beach Games and Asian Cup of beach soccer played a significant role in development for Haiyang:Enhance the level of construction of Haiyang; Create a famed" beach sports city"; Improve the urban living environment; Enrich the cultural life of city dwellers; improve the city management and service; Increase the urban employment rate; Promote industrial restructuring; Promote the integration of Chinese and Western cultures.2. Status of rural sports in Haiyang is not ideal. Rural sports should be suitable for the farmers to exercise. Consciousness of exercise and spread of sports culture is not enough. There is no professional event management system. There is no special event management person. Haiyang did not take full advantage of the stadium.3. Localized sports culture should be combined with beach sports. Rural sports should be customized for farmers. Sports rules and regulations should be formulated. Enhance the competitiveness of traditional sports culture. Establish sports associations and associate responsible persons. To improve the sports culture influence of Haiyang further and promote the development of sports better.
