The Construction Of Urban Imagination By Large-scale Sports Events

Urban imagination is a city image in planning,theory,construction and spirit.City imagination does not resemble the image of the city has become a fixed concept,but the concept of the process of perfection towards the goal.The construction and dissemination of urban imagination can free the city from the predicament of commonality,and hosting large-scale sports events is an important opportunity to construct and disseminate urban imagination.Based on this judgment,this article studies the shaping of the Second Youth Association for Taiyuan's urban imagination as a case study.Large-scale sports events are typical urban events,with characteristics of mediaization,ritualization,and landscape.Large-scale sports events as media carriers can enhance the city's hard power and soft culture,and have a profound impact on the construction of urban imagination.The holding of large-scale sports events can on the one hand take advantage of this opportunity to beautify the space landscape of the city and enhance the overall connotation of the city.On the other hand,citizens as the subject have participated in and witnessed the development of the city and jointly created the urban cultural identity.In addition,the media gathering effect of large-scale sports events has made the events the object of various media in the city.Through the continuous attention of the audience,the imagination of the city has begun,and a distinctive city image has finally formed.The main part of this paper consists of three parts: The first part is the construction and dissemination of urban imagination,the connection between large-scale sports events and urban imagination.The connection between the two is mainly verified through theory and successful experience.The second part analyzes the case of the Second Youth Association and Taiyuan Urban Imagination,interprets the changes brought about by the second youth society in Taiyuan,and analyzes the positive and negative effects of the Second Youth League on the construction and dissemination of Taiyuan's urban imagination.The third part is a summary and suggestions of large-scalesports events held in the city,hoping to provide a reference for the construction and dissemination of urban imagination.
